What's left from farm life gone by.

PBS had a good show about life on the farm. Of course we all romanticize it, but there does seem to be something sad about the end of that era.

Well, Gordon, as we all know from previous conversations you would rather have lived the 1800's, so this makes some sense. Personally, the lack of wifi would make me borderline suicidal.

We all know that people in the 1800s and early 1900s were happier than we are today! ;)

I still stand by my argument, even though it's been ages since we had that one out. Self sufficiency in one's profession, the comraderie of neighbors working together, and the awe of witnessing crops literally rise from the earth all seems more fulfilling than sitting in a cube in an office building.
